Instructor Bio

Dr. Nachiketa Mittal is a Founder & Director of Virtual Law School (India’s 1st) (www.virtuallawschool.in) and Judicial Preparation & Advisory Center (JPAC www.judicialpac.com) online platforms for law teaching and judicial service preparation. Dr. Mittal was formerly Dean In-charge of the Unitedworld School of Law, Karnavati University and a former faculty of law in the National Law University Odisha (NLUO), India. He has also worked with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India in the Supreme Court of India on invitation as Assistant Registrar (Research). Dr. Mittal graduated in B.S.L.LL.B. from the University of Pune and completed LL.M. (Human Rights) from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. He completed his Ph.D. (in Law) from NLUO in the field of access to justice for the rural poor. Dr. Mittal has worked in more than 150 villages of India as part of several research and empowerment programs for women, children and disadvantaged groups and indigenous population. Dr. Mittal’s areas of research and teaching are online education, teaching pedagogy, access to justice, criminal procedure and human rights. Dr. Mittal has delivered lectures and presented paper on Access to Justice in Miami Dade College Florida (USA); Georgia State University, College of Law (USA) and Barry University, Orlando. Dr. Mittal has also spoken in Loyola University of Chicago School of Law; Atlanta International Arbitration Society, Georgia; Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago; and Toledo University College of Law, Ohio and Southern Illinoi University School of Law.
