About the Event
Under our Cyber Crime Awareness Program, we have pledged to make the lives of the people safer & secure by encouraging them to participate with us on various occasions as our main aim is to create awareness in terms of cyber and its related subject matter. Under this, we have decided to provide the training on the legal aspect of cyberspace in India. In this session, our subject matter experts will be sharing their in-depth knowledge with the attendees in regard to cyber-related statute in India. We have tried to keep the session very opaque & swift. This is the ideal platform for netizens who struggle every day in order to keep their private information and data safe & confidential. These two days online sessions also play a vital role for those youngsters who are fascinated by the cyber world & want to opt for it as their career option. We will be covering the basis of “The Information Technology Act, 2000”

About Speakers
- Ms Pakhi Garg is an experienced In-house counsel who is currently working with Gartner (India).She’s been working in the legal industry for two years and in that time has assisted some big international organisations & companies as clients. She pursued her PG Diploma in Cyber Laws from Indian Law Institute, Delhi & LLB (H) from Amity Law School, Noida having a major in Intellectual Property Rights. She’s worked for some of the most respectable organizations like PwC (India). She has also been associated with World Cyber Security Forum (WCSF) as an Advisor & IPR Head since 2020. She has judged moot courts, Group Discussions & even acted as keynote speaker in various events & sessions. She has a great interest & understanding of Data Privacy Laws, IPR related Laws & Contract Management.
- Megha R. Ahuja is an practicing advocate who is dealing with various important civil and criminal cases in the Supreme Court / High Court / Session Court / CAT / NCLAT / RERA at New Delhi. She holds an expertise in Cyber laws, ADR, Real estate laws and contract laws. She has primarily been involved in litigation and has represented clients in civil suits, disputes pertaining to real estate, disputes pertaining to Consumer Protection Act in the State Forums and the NCDRC, also corporate insolvency matters in the NCLT and NCLAT. She has been acting as the Program Head of Cyber Crime Deptt of WCSF since 2018 and handled various techno legal consultancies successfully. In October, 2021, she was featured in World’s Leaders Magazine’s “World’s 10 Most Influential Business Leaders in Cyber Security” edition. She is an alumnus of Indian Law Institute, Amity Law School, Noida and Delhi University.
